MAFFOOD IDENTITY — MAFF

IDENTITY AND VISUAL LANGUAGE FOR MAFF’S FOOD PROJECTS.
MAFFOOD is what happens when a graphic design studio starts cooking.As the project grew from private dinners into collaborations, workshops and experimental formats, a visual identity developed alongside it: a bold logo and an edgy, recognisable graphic language built around strong typography, vivid colours and playful stickers.The identity reflects the hybrid nature of the project, moving freely between graphic design, food and social gatherings.

While working with food, we are constantly drawn to its colours, shapes and textures. Photographing it became a natural extension of the process : capturing ingredients up close and revealing their abstract qualities as part of the visual language.

Alongside MAFFOOD, the MAFFOOD gyoza line brings the identity into packaging. Silver stickers shift towards bright yellow and glow-in-the-dark accents, carrying the same playful language into a more physical format.
